Welcome to the World of Anne Dudley Bradstreet!

Have you ever heard of Anne Dudley, born in Lincolnshire, England in 1612?

In 1630, she landed in Pioneer Village, Salem, MA. Never again did she see her beloved England.

With her parents, Thomas and Dorthy Yorke Dudley, her husband, Simon Bradstreet, Gov. John Winthrop and other hardy souls, she was to become a founding mother of three distinct towns in the Commonwealth along with the mother of eight children, all born in Massachusetts.

Every bit as important, Mistress Bradstreet became the earliest female poet of the New World to be published (1650) in London.

There is so much to tell you about this delightful Early American Pioneer Woman. We will do just that in the many pages yet to be written . . . come, join the fun, discover Anne and her world!
